Year 8 Football Club attended the “ Live Your Goals” FIFA event at Aurora recently, which is a girls’ football roadshow. Yesterday, 15 October, the girls played in the NIWFA County Down Cup event for Year 8/9 pupils. Both our teams made their respective semi finals. Top goal scorers were Olivia Marshall A’s and Megan Smith/Emma Capes B’s.

A superb night of entertainment, played and sung to the highest standard. Amazing talent all around. Well done to all, both pupils and staff.
4Day Five: Firstly, we enjoyed a tour of the Capitol building. Got to go into the Public gallery of the House of Representatives. Heard some Congressmen speak. Visited the Library of Congress. We visited the Supreme Court and finished the evening at the Lincoln Memorial. 🇺🇸💙🦢❤️
What a first day in New York! Central Park, Central Station, Times Square and Empire State Building to name a few. Lots of tired girls and staff who have been on the go for 24 hours. All tucked up in bed 😴🇺🇸💙🦢
